Here’s how to love them back…

• Button or zip the garment completely. Turn the garment inside out so that the sequins are protected. If it’s a small item like a t-shirt or dress then put it in a garment bag.
• On your washing machine, select the gentle cycle and cold water temperature. Set the spin cycle on the lowest speed to prevent damage to the sequins.
• Add a gentle detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Skip the dryer if possible. Never put sequined garments in a hot dryer because the sequins could melt (same thing goes for using an iron). If absolutely necessary, you can put your denim jacket with sequin embellishments into a dryer on a cool or air-dry-only cycle for 30 minutes.
